Whimsical Christmas wreath

This is a fun wreath I put together last Christmas.  It reminds me of Whoville.   I love whimsical Christmas decor!  The wreath is so simple and cheap!  I got a wreath form at the Dollar store, then just cut and tied tulle all around it.  I used about 1 yard of red tulle and one yard of green.  I cut it into strips about 3 inches wide and 10 inches long.  I like it pretty full, so I tied and bunched until it covered the entire wreath form.  Then I added a few ribbon pieces throughout to add that little extra.  I love how it turned out! I did a smaller one for Halloween too, check it out here.

Tulle Halloween wreath

This is an inexpensive, super fun wreath for Halloween!  I did one like this for Christmas last year and loved it so much I had to make one for Halloween too.  I found a small wreath form at the Dollar Store and spray painted it black.
I used about 3/4 yard of black and probably 1/2 yard orange tulle.  I folded the tulle accordion style and cut into 3 inch wide strips. I didn't measure each cut, I just estimated; perfection is overrated...
Next, I wrapped the 3 inch wide strips around a cutting board and cut along the top length to get 10 inch strips.  Then I simply started tying the strips around the wreath and added some ribbon.  Love it!
